NOTE Not Required with MSFS Marketplace Purchases

If you purchased EYEVIONICS Link from the MSFS Marketplace, you do not need to follow this installation guide. EYEVIONICS Link will already be installed for you.

1. LOCATE MSFS COMMUNITY FOLDER

EYEVIONICS Link needs to be installed into the “Community” folder of your Microsoft Flight Simulator installation. This folder contains add-ons for the simulator that are not installed through the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace.

MSFS 2020 (Microsoft Store)

If you installed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 via the Microsoft Store, your Community folder should be here:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_[random]\LocalCache\Packages\Community

MSFS 2020 (Steam)

If you installed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 via Steam, your Community folder should be here:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community

MSFS 2024 (Microsoft Store)

If you installed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 via the Microsoft Store, your Community folder should be here:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\MicrosoftLimitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages

MSFS 2024 (Steam)

If you installed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 via Steam, your Community folder should be here:

C:\Users[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages\Community

Other Locations

If you cannot find your Community folder in the paths above, you can use the MSFS Developer Tools to find the Community folder path:

1. Open Microsoft Flight Simulator settings
2. Enable Developer Tools under General settings
3. A developer menu bar will appear at the top of the screen. Open Tools → Virtual File System
4. Check the Virtual File System → Packages Folders and → Watched Bases for the Community folder

2. INSTALL EYEVIONICS LINK

Download EYEVIONICS Link from your account at Customer Portal and extract the .zip file. Then move the unzipped eyevionics-link folder into your Community folder (see screenshot below).
