Connection Troubleshooting
Sometimes, connections between Microsoft Flight Simulator and the EYEVIONICS App cannot be established or get interrupted. There are some remedies to this issue.

No Connection At All
Disable VPN Connection
If you are using a VPN on your tablet and/or on your PC, try disabling the VPN since it could interfere with EYEVIONICS Link Auto-Connect, as well as the connection between MSFS and EYEVIONICS App itself.
Ensure Devices are on the same Network
For EYEVIONICS Link (on PC) and EYEVIONICS App (tablet) to connect, they must be on the same network. This is usually the case if:
- both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi
- the PC's LAN port is plugged into the router to which the tablet is connected with Wi-Fi
While most home networks do not have any custom setups, keep in mind that some router setups may interfere with the connection. This can include customized IP ranges, networks or a firewall.
Slow Connections, Lag or Disconnects
Check Wi-Fi Connection Quality
The Wi-Fi connection should have a speed of 8 Mbps at the very least. Note that this is the speed of your device to the Wi-Fi router, not necessarily the Internet speed. As a rule of thumb, make sure your tablet shows the Wi-Fi reception as 2 out of 3 bars.
Check for Low MSFS Frame Rate
The frame rate of Microsoft Flight Simulator should be 20 frames/second at the very least. The quality of the displays in the EYEVIONICS App depends on the frequency of data received from the simulator, so the faster the simulator runs, the better.
